The Board of Directors of the Indiana Area School District do, pursuant to Article VII, Section 780 of the Pennsylvania Public School Code of 1949, as amended, resolve that a Public Hearing of the Board will be held in the Auditorium of the Indiana Area Senior High School, 450 N. 5th Street on February 26, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. upon the question of determining alternate uses for or to permanently close the Horace Mann Elementary School located 205 S. 5th Street, Indiana County, PA at the end of the 2024-2025 School Year.
Please join us for a brief presentation on the current status of the building, the actions and situations that have led us to this point, and possibilities for the future. The purpose of this hearing is to gather feedback form the community stakeholders before any decisions are made, so please come and share your thoughts.
